Morgan joined Charter Oak Capital Management in the winter of 2024, coming from a robust background in consulting, where she specialized in solving workplace, organizational, and operational challenges across the country. Her expertise in strategic workplace design and talent management has driven organizational success and innovation, making her a key addition to the Charter Oak leadership team.
As the Director of Client Operations, Morgan is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of Charter Oak's operations. Her role ensures seamless coordination between departments and the implementation of best practices to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. Morgan is passionate about creating dynamic work environments that not only meet the current needs of businesses but also lead them confidently into the future.
In addition to her professional achievements, Morgan is a co-founder of the Kita Center, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preventing suicide by building intentional environments that foster connections and engage individuals in lifelong mental wellness. The Kita Center, born from the pioneering efforts of the Mosher siblings, has evolved from a summer camp for children grieving a loved one's suicide into a broad-reaching initiative offering support, education, and community for those affected by suicide and suicide risk.
Morgan lives in Newmarket with her partner, Colin, their two children, and a variety of animals. They enjoy the balance of community engagement and the tranquility of their home life.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
Morgan has a fervent obsession with "Antiques Roadshow" and can frequently be found thrifting or rummaging through sidewalk piles in search of hidden treasures. Her passion for uncovering the stories and values behind vintage finds illuminates her appreciation for history and the untold stories of everyday objects.
If you weren’t in this profession, what else would you be doing?
Given her dedication to mental wellness and community service, Morgan likely would have pursued a career in counseling, focusing on adolescent and family therapy.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Inspired by the stories of pioneering explorers, Morgan dreamed of becoming an archaeologist, uncovering ancient civilizations and bringing their stories to life.
Sue has overseen Charter Oak Capital Management's various software systems since October 2001. She works with all members of the Charter Oak Team to ensure that COCM's financial advisors have the most accurate and pertinent information to create the best experience possible for our clients.
Cathy joined Charter Oak Capital Management in July 2010. Cathy previously worked in banking management and served as a commercial account development manager with Ford Motor Credit Company.
As Client Service Manager, Cathy works closely with the service team. She is responsible for handling all necessary documentation to establish new client relationships, providing service to existing clients and supporting the firm’s advisors.
Cathy is a former board member of the Dover Soccer Association and enjoys watching her children in their many school sporting events. She lives in Dover, NH with her husband, Jon, their children, Joe and Lindsay, and their beloved rescue dog, Bama.
Marny joined Charter Oak Capital Management in the Spring of 2011, bringing experience in client service administration at regional banks, independent brokers and investment advisory firms.
As a Senior Client Service Manager, Marny is responsible for handling client service related matters, providing service to new and existing clients and supporting the firm’s advisors. Widely known for her dedicated and sincere approach to helping clients, Marny is an excellent resource to the firm and for any client looking for help.
Christine joined Charter Oak Capital Management in Summer 2003 and is responsible for the administrative management of firm’s three offices.
Widely known for her good nature and charm, Christine is the first and very best person to help connect clients with resources at the firm. She is the primary person who schedules initial appointments, portfolio reviews and telephone calls for clients.
Christine is a native of Maine and has two adult children, Ashley and Alissa. She lives in Sanford, Maine with her husband, Jack.
Bee Jay joined Charter Oak in 2012. Her main role is keeper of the firm's digital records and management of its imaging database, but her many talents are widespread and she may be found in a variety of capacities whenever the need arises. She is a fully integrated member of the Charter Oak team, creating a sense of trust, value and accountability.
Bee Jay has over 50 years of office administration experience, having worked for many prominent business and law firms in the New Hampshire seacoast community. Bee Jay lives in Portsmouth, NH and is a rabid New England Patriots fan.
Taylor joined Charter Oak as an Administrative Associate in November of 2020. She previously spent seven years working in hotel sales and operations, where she was known for elevating guest experience with thoughtful details and exceptionally warm customer service. She is a New England native who returned to the seacoast area of New Hampshire after attending college in San Francisco, California. In her free time she enjoys reading contemporary fiction, baking elaborate pies, and hunting for vinyl records and vintage furniture. She lives in Stratham, NH with her cats Rabbit and Possum.
Julie joined Charter Oak Capital Management as Support Specialist in July of 2023.
Julie has many dedicated years of experience working in insurance, start-ups, and retail cultures for companies such as Liberty Mutual Insurance, MURAL, and Staples, Inc. Using her project management, strategic planning, and communications background, Julie is responsible for supporting the firm’s Client and Advisor needs, compliance program and operational initiatives. She mainly works out of the Portsmouth, New Hampshire office.
Originally from Canada, Julie was raised in New Hampshire and received her Bachelor of Science from Boston University. Julie resides in New Castle, New Hampshire with her husband Mark, two daughters, Stella and Lydia, and their yellow Labrador, Lola. She supports her children’s passions for theater, cooking, swimming, softball, basketball, and all things ocean related.
